Dr. Tipton graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a BA degree and attended the University of Tennessee Medical Units in Memphis to earn a DDS degree from the College of Dentistry in 1976. After an intense 1½ year associate ship with Dr. Richard Hawk in Lenoir City, Dr. Tipton began his private practice in Jefferson City in 1978.
